12:25. ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಕೆಮ್ ನಗರವಿತ್ತು. ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಶೆಕೆಮನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಬಲಾಢ್ಯ ನಗರವನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದನು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಪೆನೂವೇಲ್ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದನು.
